Estudio literario y traductológico del relato "Η Φαμακολύτρια", de Aléxandros Papadiamandis

Resumen

Este artículo constituye uno de los escasos estudios que existen en español sobre el escritor griego Aléxandros Papadiamandis (1851-1911). De esta manera, el objetivo del presente trabajo es, mediante el estudio literario y traductológico de su relato Ή Φαρμακολύτρια (1900), el de dar visibilidad y arrojar luz sobre la figura y obra de Papadiamandis para hacerlo más accesible al público hispanoparlante, superando la gran barrera lingüística que supone su traslación al castellano desde su tan característico idiolecto griego y, por ende, dando más a conocer al autor tanto a nivel literario como académico en el mundo hispanohablante.

The present paper is one of the very few studies in Spanish that focuses on the Greek writer Alexandros Papadiamandis (1851-1911). The aim is to shed light on Papadiamandis’ figure and life’s work through the literature and translation study of the tale Ή Φαρμακολύτρια (1900), hence making him more accessible to the Spanish-speaking world. The present study will also contribute to lessen the great language barrier that translating his work into Spanish implies, given his characteristic Greek idiolect, as well as it will also contribute to make Papadiamandis more widely known both in the literary and academic Spanish-speaking fields.
