Resumen

La historia del arte del siglo XX se presenta cada vez más como un campo de estudio en el que adquieren importancia elementos como la transversalidad, los estudios comparados y  la atención por la producción artística de aquellas zonas alejadas y al mismo tiempo en constante diálogo con los grandes centros del arte. Compartiendo ese tipo de acercamiento a la historia del arte, el presente artículo tiene como objetivo más específico cartografiar la presencia de artistas griegos en España durante el siglo XX, así como señalar las principales carácteristicas del marco histórico y cultural en el que se enmarca este fenómeno.

The History of Art of the 20th century is a fild of study in which have increasingly acquired importance elements such as transversely, comparative studies and the attention to the artistic production of areas far away and at the same time in constant dialog with the big art centers. Sharing this kind of approach to the History of Art, the present article aims more specifially to the mapping of the presence of Greek artists in Spain during the 20th century, as well as to remark the main characteristic of the historical and cultural context in which this phenomenon is included.
